Revenue…
Family ReEntry’s revenue comes from both the private and public sectors.
Public sector support accounts for about 40% of total revenue and includes governmental contracts as well as fees charged to other agencies.
Private sector funding accounts for about 60% of total revenue and includes foundations, faith-based organizations, civic groups, corporations, and individual donors.

Of the approximately 65,000 foundations and charitable trusts in the United States, only 20 state in their mission that they fund social services programs that work directly with offenders/ex-offenders. This astonishingly small percentage (less than 1/2 of 1 percent) severely limits Family ReEntry's ability to secure sustained funding. Combine this with severe cutbacks in state contracts, and it becomes clear that funding from private foundations and donors is crucial to our continuing and successful operation.
