Parenting Education Program
Parenting Education assist parents, or adult parental figures/caregivers in effectively addressing the needs of the children in their care and enhancing their capacity to nurture, discipline, and socialize children appropriately.
| The groups meet for 12-15 weekly sessions, are open to both men and women, and cover these nine topics: | |

| • | Child-rearing strategies |
| • | Parental self-awareness |
| • | Effective and appropriate discipline strategies |
| • | Effective problem-solving |
| • | Parent-child communication |
| • | Effective and age-appropriate nurturing (e.g., validation, support, respect, autonomy, acknowledgment, caring) |
| • | Making family life enjoyable |
| • | Skills to foster sound moral development |
